The first primary election for 2022 has concluded, but votes are still being tabulated. The Board of Elections now begins the review of mail-in and provisional ballots. The 1st mail-In ballot canvass will be 10:00 am on Thursday, January 6th, and is expected to continue through Saturday, January 8th, 2022. The provisional ballot canvass will start at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 12th, and should continue through Friday, January 14th. The 2nd and final mail-In ballot canvass will occur at 10:00 am on Friday, January 14th.
Early voting for the Special General Election will be run from Wednesday, January 26th-Monday, January 31st. The deadline to register to vote for County Council District 8 residents is Tuesday, January 11th. The Special General Election will take place on February 1st from 7:00 am-8:00 pm.
